The operator publishes an hourly series, but the calibration rate comes from a domestic statistical agency or a modelled share-split of a national anchor.

The snapshot value comes from a verified upstream feed or anchor.

Tier, provenance, and source are read at build time from src/lib/regions.ts — the same table the globe draws from. The validation record below is generated separately and gated against it by npm run ci:docs-drift.

Discrepancy analysis

No backfill and no continuous dispatch-down telemetry. Region now uses the official COES EDI reports as the direct curtailment evidence/anchor and the COES generation dashboard only for the live daily solar magnitude.

Known limitations

The COES EDI source is published as monthly PDFs, so the live loader does not scrape those reports for an hourly series. It uses COES daily solar generation by company and distributes the calibrated curtailed MWh over a daylight-only southern Peru solar profile. sourceStatus="live" means the COES generation endpoint was reachable and returned recent daily solar totals; the 2% curtailment multiplier and EDI/report anchor remain the limiting assumptions.

Current GW, 24-hour peak, 30-day TWh, and feed freshness for this region are on the globe. Cite this page as everylastjoule.com/region/peru-solar. The dataset has a DOI; see About.
